Office space was leased in a new building project for a new branch of a bank in Dornbach, a suburb of Vienna. The façade and the portal were already determined and could only be modified in minor details. Given that the possibility for the company to advertise itself to the outside world was thus limited, it was proposed to affix an abbreviated outsize company logo to the façade, which would immediately draw attention to the bank by virtue of its unusual size and the element of visual irritation it provokes.

In order to keep production costs to a minimum, the fittings for the interior of the branch were either taken from the bank's depot or moved from the old branch.

Besides the standard equipment laid down in the bank's company manual, the service area was furnished with fitted cupboards and wall-elements faced with Eternit, quoting the material used for the large sign on the façade. The service area itself was kept as large as possible, both in terms of space and height.

A painting by Ona B. was purchased as part of Bank Austria's art and architecture program.
